Feeling unmet, Annie approaches the houseguest with an unusual proposition. She suggests that in exchange for him taking on a personal, focused caretaking role that fulfills her unaddressed emotional and physical needs, she will entirely relieve him of all domestic chore duties. This confidential, transactional arrangement trades his physical contribution to the home for a private service that closes a significant gap in her personal life.
